Re: club music - the volume has increased because the producers of club music, are locked up making club music. It's not like they've been able to rapidly change style. Meanwhile, I like to mix 120+ bpm nudisco / house music so I am still making mini sets of that type of music on my weekly radio show, but I am certainly not doing extended dance sets so I'm not buying as many disco edits and bangers from Traxsource for example. Yet Traxsource is laden with so many new releases. I think of one label I work with, Midnight Riot Records, who make that type of music and their output is higher than ever. You would have to have like a MRC Music Connect (formerly Nielsen Music) and compare big dance releases from this year to last year to see sales and streaming data. Have Juno Download, Beatport, and Traxsource sold less this year? is more music making its way to Bandcamp vs those sites?
